SOME ADVICE ON USING THE FORUMS -

1. All user-names & passwords are case sensitive so remember yours exactly.

2. There is no translation facility on the forums. HOWEVER, if you open this link here, it will open a new browser page of a free translation web site where you can copy & paste in any text you see within the forums. Simply scroll down to the bottom of the page, paste in your text, select the translation & away you go - not ideal but the best I could do in the circumstances.

3. Once you are logged in please DO edit & add to your own profile. Please make your email available to all other owners so that we can all communicate either one to one or collectively for posting any security warnings etc.

4. Have some FUN!! There are NINE forums covering most topics that I can think of from the serious stuff to the lighthearted. Any suggestions for any extra forums please let me know.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Unable to log on?
1. Check your user name & password are spelt correctly including upper & lower case etc.
2. If you keep getting an error message saying....'scrip called incorrectly' then you either do not have your 'cookies' enabled, or your browser security settings are too high or you have a third party fire wall that has your 'privacy' setting to 'on'.

KEEP GETTING ERROR MESSAGES FROM FREEOLA?
The web server is either down for maintenance or you have mis-typed the url address - try again.

HELP ON USING THE FORUM BUTTONS

'Get framed' link - use this to open all the buttons.
'The collective' button - simply a link back to the main home page of the web site.
'Menu info' link - explanation of what you can edit.
'Members' button - takes you to the entry main page of the forum.
'All boards' button - Shows all the forum boards together with the last post someone left.
'New thread' button - use this to enter a new posting rather than replying to an existing one.
'New poll' button - use this to set up a voting poll - place a question & choose the answers.
'Post reply' button - as it says, post a reply to the posting you are currently reading from someone else.
'Quoted reply' button - simply inlays the previous posters text into your reply box.
'Email this' button - email the post you are viewing to a friend.
'Print this' button - allows a printer friendly version of the posting you are viewing for printing.
'My web' site button - takes you to the web site of the poster.
'My email' button - allows you to send an email to the poster you are reading.
'Terms of use' button - what it says.
'Refresh' button - refreshes the screen.
'Bulletin boards' button - menu header for all boards & edit threads.
'Member panel' button - menu header for navigation & things you can do.
'Search' button - search for a posting using a variety of fields.
'Browse by date' button - find a posting by date.
'Software' button' - script & licensing info.
'Fusebox' - not a button - just a header.
'9volt+BBS' - not a button - just a header.
